By car: take the A9 motorway towards Como/Chiasso. Leave the motorway at Como Sud, follow the signs to Como Centro and then continue along the lake (it will be on your left) to Bellagio.

By public transport:
Option 1)
By train to Como:  1 - The Milan-Malpensa / Saronno or Milan Cadorna "Malpensa Express" is a train that goes from Malpensa Terminal 1 to Saronno. Purchase your ticket directly to "Como Lago Nord", the lakeside station.
2 - Saronno - Milan Cadorna / Como. Change train at Saronno or Milan Cadorna and then take the train to Como.
3 - Como / Bellagio. There are several ways to reach Bellagio once in Como:  a) Bus (the easiest and cheapest). Buses leave from the bus station which is right beside the train station.
b) Boat or hydrofoil: (the hydrofoil is the fastest means of transportation on the lake). From the train station, cross the road and follow the lake shore to the left for about 5 minutes (keeping the lake on your right) until you come to the boat ticket office.

Option 2)
Shuttle Bus from Malpensa Airport to Milan Central Station:
1 – The Malpensa Airport shuttle bus to the Central Station in Milan.
2 - Milan Central Station - Varenna: take the train for Sondrio or Tirano and get off at Varenna.
